Interns visit New Brunswick Theological Seminary
January 1, 2013
The students were required to complete eight separate activities during the summer; three of the activities were Church related and five of the activities were Outreach beyond the church. The students were also hosted for a visit at the New Brunswick Theological Seminary where they met with Dr. Gregg Mast, President of the Seminary, who spoke to each student about their future plans and interests in Christian Service. Mr. Christopher Brennan gave the group a tour of Sage Library where they saw antiquities and archives of the Reformed Church in America. Dr. Neal Presa invited the students to sit in on an “Introduction to Worship” class where they listened to and participated in the class discussion.
The internship was a meaningful and educational opportunity for the students to explore opportunities in Christian Service. If you are interested in hearing more about this program, please contact Debi Jensen (djensen@students.nbts.edu).
