The purpose of the New Brunswick Theological Seminary Alumni Association is to foster a spirit of loyalty, reciprocal engagement, and to promote the general welfare of the Association members and NBTS. The association will exist to support the alumni goals to strengthen the ties among alumni near and far, current students, churches, communities, and the goals of the Seminary.

This committee will recommend candidates from all active alumni members for office to be elected by the Association for a two-year term.
Robert Anderson (1968)
Honors & Awards Committee
The Committee will recommend to the Council nominees for the following awards: 1784 Legacy (RCA), Chaplaincy (PC&C), Global Ministry, and Prophetic Ministry.
Wes Wilson (2018)
Student Recruitment & Retention Committee
This committee will assist the Seminary in attracting and retaining eligible, high-quality students. Committee members will work in concert with the Alumni Relations staff and the Director of Admissions in carrying out specific recruitment and retention plans each year.
Sharon Johnson (2015)
Financial Stewardship Committee
This committee will maintain the Association’s annual budget, lead fundraising efforts for the Alumni Fund, alumni scholarship funds, and various NBTS Funds. Fundraising activities are planned and implemented in coordination with the Office of Advancement.
Adebisi (Bisi) Shofu (2013)
Social Action Committee
Committee members will work in concert with Professor of Metro-Urban Ministry to assist the Seminary in carrying out its mandate to engage in Christ-centered witness by identifying relevant social justice issues.
Geraldine Clark (2012)
The Cares Committee is the pastoral care arm of the Alumni Association and will support alumni by communicating with those who are in bereavement, experiencing illness, or other difficulties.
Alice Scott (2018)
This committee is responsible to for ensuring that current information is regularly sent to all alumni via social media, postal mail, and email. It will work to collect pertinent information from alumni in all of its diversity across the regions and classes to share with the entire alumni body.
