NBTS Women's Auxiliary

Attention: Our next meeting is Monday, October 20th, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at the President's House The NBTS Women's Auxiliary is a group composed of all the women found in the three eastern regional synods of the Reformed Church in America (RCA) including Mid-Atlantics, New York and Albany. The Auxiliary also includes representatives from other church traditions in the NBTS student body. We began in 1952, and celebrated our 50th anniversary on October 19, 2002. Our purpose is to improve seminary facilities that directly or indirectly affect the health, comfort, and general welfare of the students. The Auxiliary contributes financial support in the form of student scholarships; and it hosts the Baccalaureate reception every year.

Their motherly soft-spot for our students is legend around the Seminary. During exam week, students find huge baskets of fruit and granola bars, even home-baked cookies for energy as a stress reliever. Through their efforts, the Auxiliary contributes financial support in the form of student scholarships; and hosts the Baccalaureate reception every year. After several years of small fundraisers, The Women’s Auxiliary met their goal of raising money to provide a $30,000 Endowment Scholarship. They are an important group of dedicated women who contribute their time and energy in helping the seminary continue efforts at training men and women for Christian service.
