The Student Society of Inquiry (SSI) is dedicated to serving the needs of the Graduate Study seminarians at the New Brunswick Theological Seminary (NBTS). Our Vision is a Christian base engaging community dedicated to developing a sound comprehensive curriculum, in a faith base seminary that embraces a multi-cultural, diversified student body; an organization that provides a caring and loving environment in which students are encouraged and nurtured to develop as spiritual leaders. Our Mission is to act as the NBTS student governing body and initiate means and ways of expressing religious, cultural, educational, individual, and to grow in our Christian faith and practice. SSI scope of activities includes: initiating forums of inquiry, planning social activities for the seminary community, attending committee meetings, and being the corporate voice of students by encouraging active and progressive communication within the student body, administration, faculty, and with other external entities and persons as the need may arise.
