DMIN Requirements
DMIN REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet ATS guidelines requiring an M. Div. (or equivalent) degree and three years experience in a ministry setting (in a congregation or agency) after completion of the master’s degree.
Additionally, each candidate must submit the following materials:
*Transcript of the M. Div. (or equivalent) degree, demonstrating a grade point average of at least 3.0;
*Two letters of recommendation; one from a supervisor; one from a formal pastoral colleague.
*Engagement in some form of ministry for the duration of the program.
*A case study prepared by the applicant focused on an aspect of urban ministry demonstrating the ability to think analytically, to reflect theologically, and to integrate theory and practice.
