NBTS Community gather for an International Christmas Celebration
On Friday, December 14, 2012, NBTS celebrated Christmas, truly reflecting its diverse community. Over one hundred people came together; students, staff, faculty and their families and friends to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The evening began with a worship service that included scripture readings, a sermon by NBTS student Leah Ennis, and Christmas Songs.
What would a Christmas Celebration be without food? NBTS came together and broke bread after the worship service. The food was abundant, and included many desserts and Christmas candy. At the end of the night, SSI president, Glinis Garcia was heard urging guests to, "Take some food home, please!"
The entertainment rivaled grammy award winners as we listened to songs sung by the NBTS and KOSAN Choirs. Gabor Repelik, a Hungarian International Exchange Student joined the KOSAN choir and sang Jingle Bells in Korean.
We thank the committee, Yasha People, Glinis Garcia, Norma Brown and Jackie Jackson for orchestrating the evening that allowed the entire NBTS community to come together for fellowship and fun. What a great kick-off to our blessed Christmas Season!
