Student Ambassador Program


The NBTS Student Ambassador Program is a volunteer program coordinated through the Office of Student Services in partnership with the Admissions, Alumni and Development offices. The Student Ambassador will work with the New Jersey and New York Regional Recruiters to promote the Seminary’s campuses, certificate programs and degree programs to area churches and events.

Student Ambassador Job Description
Under the direction of the New Jersey and New York Regional Recruiters, the Student Ambassador participates in the following student services areas:
  • Assist in the delivery of NBTS outreach to your church and throughout the community.
  • Help develop recruitment and development presentations for area churches and events.
  • Represent NBTS during career fairs, school visits, and other informational events.
  • Lead NBTS campus tours for prospective students.
  • Assist staff during open house and orientation sessions.
  • Assist with the distribution of NBTS promotional materials.
  • Assist in the planning and or implementation of special activities.

Other opportunities as assigned by the Dean of Students. Student Ambassadors will be recognized by the President for their participation in the Program with the Annual Recognition Dinner.

Student Ambassador Qualifications
A Student Ambassador must be a currently enrolled student at New Brunswick Theological Seminary. A Student Ambassador must be willing to provide assistance and be able to effectively relate with people from diverse backgrounds. Student Ambassadors must attend mandatory training sessions.
