Career Services

The Office of Alumni/ae and Church Relations has been cultivating relationships with churches and institutions to find new ways to assist in equipping persons for ministry. Many of the churches have responded positively particularly in providing NBTS with career opportunities for students and alumni/ae. We have posted openings for our students and alumni/ae in this site. The position will be listed for three months and then take it down. We ask churches to also let us know when their position has been filled, or if they wish to keep the posting open longer.

While we offer career services as a way of relating to churches and institutions, the Seminary is not responsible for job placement or content of material. We are simply here to let you know where positions are available. It is your responsibility to contact them directly.

Many denominations do not post their openings (Ex: American Baptist) and you must contact your denomination to be sure that you follow their procedure for placement. In some cases the denominational website list of openings (PCUSA) is very large and more complete than what we can offer in our current program. Your denomination will assist you in your search.
