Scholarship awards can be based on a variety of criteria including denomination, enrollment status, academic merit, talent, demonstrated financial need, field of study, participation in a specific program, organization or activity, and/or any combination of the above. NBTS Scholarships are awarded upon availability of funds. As part of NBTS's continued mission to educate persons and strengthen communities for transformational, public ministries in church and society, we are proud to offer scholarships. In order for the scholarship committee to evaluate every student applying for scholarships fairly, students must submit a reflective essay.
Submit your essay on a separate sheet of paper with your full name, NBTS Student ID number (if applicable) and your program of study in the top right hand corner. In this short essay, synthesize and critically reflect on your learning, and how you will incorporate the pursuit of your calling into your professional practice. Limit your reflective essay to 500 words.
Your reflective essay should address the following question:
1. How will a scholarship help you in the pursuit of your calling?
